Blackened fish Recipe

Ingredients:

·1 teaspoon basil

·1 teaspoon paprika

·1/2 cup cajun spice mix

·4 teaspoons Canola oil

·4 teaspoons butter

·6 lemon wedges

·6 (8 ounce) fish fillets - (grouper, tilapia, snapper, and barramundi are all excellent options)

 

Directions:

·Melt butter and add with Canola oil

·Combine oil and butter mix with all spices and stir

·Cover the fillets with oil and spice mix

·Cook at 450 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. **To pan sear: over medium-high heat for approximately 10 minutes.
